Christopher Gibson is a global people operations leader who currently serves as the Director, Talent Acquisition and Diversity in the technology and cloud space. For 20+ years, he has been a trusted leader and builder of top-talented, high-performing, diverse teams and companies globally. Throughout his career, he has and continues to coach/mentor, and lead diverse global teams focused on broad partnerships to amplify, attract, and hire creative and technical professionals into tech start-ups and Fortune 500 organizations such as Amazon, Comcast, Microstrategy Group, and AOL.

Growing up black in America, he has always possessed a strong passion for supporting the advancement of those who share African roots globally and ensuring that we are not left out of the various opportunities, especially in the technology space where are only a fraction of the workforce. This is why Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging are important to him, and why he drives accountability through measurable action and not just in empty verbiage. While the economy if not ideal currently, he continues to campaign internally for various partnerships on the continent of Africa in the cloud space. Recently, he completed his MBA in Business Essentials from Rutgers University.

Christopher has a diverse set of interests and tech hobbies. During the pandemic, he had become increasingly interested in the idea of learning about VR and being immersed in the metaverse. After purchasing his first headset, and started earning metaverse passport stamps across various platforms, under the name Pan Afriqan. While immersed, as Pan, he has developed a community, and collaborated with top well-known builders, creators, and artists who have been wildly successful at making the metaverse a monetizable home. These various VR adventures and connections are what lead him to partner with friends to develop the African Diaspora Metaverse Museum. We see this as a purposeful, mission-focused opportunity to bring together people from the African diaspora through sharing and educating one another about our diverse heritage, love, cultures, and beauty.
